My absolute favorite subgenre is the apololyptic pseudo-religious horror film. Movies like Rosemary's Baby, The Devil's Advocate, The Omen, The Seventh Sign, and Prince of Darkness. Anything dealing with the Devil, the antichrist, and old priests fighting demons. When I was in Catholic school and they taught us about possession, we were told that priests were the most succeptible becasue the were like generals in a war. If they could be beaten, it would weaken the entire army. I remember stain glass windows and biblical illustraions that depicted the fight between the arc angel Michael and Lucifer

"The Little Book Eaten" is about one such priest who is tested by the Devil. It is in the very early stages of development but I would like to write a draft soon and unless something else arises, it should be the next script I attempt.
